Stati Magia ~ Italian School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

⤞ Stati Magia is one of the Italian schools for young wizards and witches. It's located in the northern region of the isolated Fiemme Mountains of Northern Italy.⤞ The Moretti famiglia had handed each of their sons into separate schools about Europe for the sole purpose of spreading their name. If a Moretti could settle their way into each major institution, that would be a win in their book. As Oreste's older brothers went to more prestigious wizarding schools about the area such as Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, they began to feel a tad tired by the time Oreste was preparing for his own studies. Both parents in agreeance that their second youngest should be close by for divided reasons of their own.⤞ Stati Magia had been a pure-hearted notion of a school. And so to keep with traditions, the houses were split into threes. One set of three for witches and the other set for wizards. The witch houses consisted of the House of Juno, the House of Diana, and the House of Venus. Whereas the wizard counterpart had the House of Jupiter, the House of Vesta, and the House of Apollo.⤞ To discover which house he was branded to, Oreste must answer inquiries pertaining to his practical skills. From there, he was set to participate in a quick task to indicate his certain way of thinking. After all was said and done, he was sorted into the House of Vesta. Much like the connection of Hufflepuff at Hogwarts, Vesta relies on loyalties, kindness, and resourcefulness along with other matching traits.⤞ At the start, Oreste felt in his elements. He had bonded easily with those around him, even all of the other houses. Away from the bandit outlook of his famiglia's reputation, the school allowed him to become more accustomed to who he desired to be rather than what his father wanted. He wasn't in the light of his famiglia at the school. Although, during the second half of the term, that demeanor shifted rapidly. Many students heard of his surname and those who bared the same doing horrid things in the streets of Italy. Friends who used to be eager to greet him in the halls had grown absolutely terrified of him. Scurrying away and avoiding eye contact. Oreste didn't connect the reasonings behind it until he met one of his closest comrades, Sabine Monriede. A tiny framed girl claimed to the House of Juno.⤞ She too had been in the circles of gossip about him and his brutal famiglia. Yet, she took note of his persona from afar, seeing that he was quite the opposite of the rumors. So like a true Juno representative, she took lead, taking reign of the friendship from the start. Not that Oreste truly minded. Someone was speaking with him on the daily without judgment, even adding another friend to his list besides herself. A heavier set girl by the name of Aria Zapier. Friendly and cheery attributes lead her to the House of Venus.⤞ In the final month of their first year, Sabine pushed both friends to join the school choir in the coming term. Aria was quick to agree, but Oreste gave hesitations. He told her to give him their summer holiday before he applied his final decision. The millions of letters he received from Sabine each day over the one-month summer holiday caused some alarm throughout the Moretti household. Each letter resulted in a pressured inquiry into his verdict. However, there were lots to consider. If he did join, how would his famiglia see it? It's not like a Moretti to be anything but the savage exterior they possessed. He could be tossed away with nowhere to go should they know. Yet if he didn't, he could lose the friendships he formed over the year. Not to mention, his new fascination for singing thanks to both Aria and Sabine.⤞ Upon returning to school, he gave his final word on the matter. Yes. But it would be kept a secret through most of his schooling from his famiglia. The only one to catch on was his older brother, Giacomo. Being the one that observed human behavior, it wasn't difficult for Giacomo to discover what it is Oreste was doing with his after-class time. With the knowledge of him adding himself to the choir instead of debating the natural topics of the wizarding era like he told them, Giacomo seemed to be on the supportive side. Even showing up to some performances once receiving the letter about it.⤞ His days in the choir gave him two other comrades he put his trust in. Both hailing from the House of Apollo. A small redheaded boy by the name of Calvino Trentini and a dark-haired boy of Oreste's stature, Tommaso Casetta.
Leaving Italy

⤞ Heading into his final year was one of the toughest things he had to endure. Not five days prior, he had found his father's bloodied corpse placed in the living room and attended his funeral before returning to the school the day after.⤞ Arturo, the oldest and freshly anointed man of the Moretti house sent Oreste back to school as if nothing had occurred. Yet before he did, there had been word in the famiglia about departing Italy entirely for everyone's safety. Speculation had formed rapidly throughout his days at school, until lo and behold, Oreste would receive a letter from his mother to confirm his worries five months later. Oreste could not graduate with his friends of five to six years, nor could he tell them of his newfound whereabouts to keep in touch. He was directed to cut all contact with them.⤞ However, with the cunning words of Arturo and his mother, the headmaster allowed Oreste to graduate early. Education being the main focus still within the famiglia's interpretational value.⤞ And so, in his concluding days in Italy, the choir completed their last performance together with all of the remaining Morettis in attendance. Of course, after a tiring debate.⤞ Once making it to New York, Oreste Moretti was no more. Instead, Otto Miller became his new creation. However heavy it may be.
⤞ Famiglia Moretti {Miller} ⤝

Mama Moretti {Miller}
⤞ A well-rounded and respected member of the Morettis. Even though Arturo runs the show on the surface, she is the backbone. What she says, goes. Cross her and you'll regret it instantly.⤞ Otto loves his ma with all his heart. She is the one that inspired kindness to blossom within him. Even when she wasn't fully on the road to delicate handlings in some cases. Esepcailly when dealing with Otto's older brothers.

Arturo Moretti {Vincent Miller}
⤞ The eldest of the brothers and certainly the most bullheaded.⤞ Otto's relationship with him is a distant one. It's not as well formed since the majority of their interactions happen to be on business terms. They do share some softer moments in time, but not as much as Otto would like. Is there slight fear when he's around? Yes, but that's to be expected when Vincent declares himself the boss.

Elia Moretti {Elijah Miller}
⤞ The second eldest Moretti. The angry brother. The Enforcer. If a Moretti needed something done, go to Elijah. But use caution.⤞ Otto's relationship with him isn't a solid one as he can be captivated by fear most of the time. However, there have been moments where the angry brother is the most reliable. Depending on Elijah's mood for the day dictates if there's going to be an interaction between them.

Giacomo Moretti {James Miller}
⤞ Cunning, sneaky, charming. If Giacomo could be summed up in three words, those would be the easiest to come by. Others who have dealt with him have given much more vulgar descriptions, but that's for another day.⤞ The second youngest had come to put a good portion of his trust in James' hands. After coming clean to James about his secret choir admissions, Otto found that it was undemanding to apply confidence. The underlying support Otto always needed. James was easy to talk to. He was the brother that listened, the brother that cared. And visa versa. He was the comfort brother. To say that they were valued by each other would be an understatement.

Phoenix Moretti {Miller}
⤞ The youngest brother of the Moretti clan. Bold is a term no one in the famiglia would use lightly when describing Phoenix.⤞ Since they are the closest in age, they get along well. Having been by each other's side since they were children, both Phoenix and Otto could tell each other almost anything. Almost. Until time decided to test their loyalties. Upon moving to New York, ideals changed. Do they still get along? Sure. But time has drifted them apart, unfortunately.
